Digital Signage displays bring The University of Northampton’s Open Day into 2012.
Last weekend The University of Northampton used eight 32” Digital Signage displays from Allsee Technologies to elevate the effectiveness of their Open Day.
The Digital Signage displays were integrated into printed display stands set up for each department. Each department had their own stand manned by Student Ambassadors. The screens initially caught the attention of potential students before disseminating targeted audio and visual information. They were used to guide potential students around each department of the university by using graphic visuals, such as maps and schedules, and vibrant introductory videos for courses and facilities. By using Digital Signage, The University of Northampton were able to give prospective students a dynamic snapshot of any given course or area of the university. One Open Day attendee said,
“The University had a great vibe, excellent facilities and is full of friendly people. After attending an Open Day it is now my first choice university”.
Not only do The University of Northampton’s Marketing Department plan to use the Digital Signage displays for future enrollment events but they also have plans to use them for a wide range of other applications in near future.
